The Postal Regulatory Commission launched its new website on Monday, April 7, 2008. The enhanced site will provide seamless access to Commission information and will be easier for users to navigate with updated security, usability, and accessibility standards.

During the process of designing the new website, the Commission solicited input from frequent users of the site and incorporated many of the suggestions. The updated website includes two new features: the Newsroom and Breaking News. Both sections will provide timely information about the Postal Regulatory Commission and its activities.

Chairman Dan G. Blair said, The new website will provide a more user-friendly way of accessing the Commission and its operations. Our hope is that postal customers and users of the U.S. Mail will find our new site helpful in assessing the progress we are making as the Commission continues its work in implementing the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act. Please take a look at the Commissions new look by going to www.prc.gov.

The Commission was one of the first federal agencies to establish an online filing and docketing system. Its new up-to-date website will retain popular features such as Daily Listing and Filing Online, as well as reference material links to Dockets and USPS and Commission Reports in the enhanced Library, along with the web-linked Archived Documents. More information will be available on the Home Page for one-click access.

The new website is also more accessible to individuals with disabilities and is designed to meet the access requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
