Spark Robotics Technology Inc. was awarded with the prestigious title of "Best Exhibitor  Cleantech and Advanced Technologies" at the 10th Annual Canadian Financing Forum on November 15, 2006. Spark is a Vancouver-based company developing systems for the remote or driverless operation of existing heavy industrial equipment with an initial focus on the shipping industry.

While nearly 40 of Canada's best Growth Companies made fifteen minute presentations in three sectors, Spark was chosen best exhibitor for their category. This is a second win in a row for Spark Robotics Technology Inc., who won the Investor's Choice Award for "Best Pre-Revenue Company" at the Vancouver Angel Forum only a few weeks ago on October 24, 2006.

"Whether controlled from across the room, across the continent, or without an operator at all, Spark will have a profound impact on how businesses use their mobile ground equipment," says Harbir Boparai, President and CEO of Spark Robotics Technology Inc.

"Spark Robotics was very effective when demonstrating their TRACS [platform] Tele-Robotic Assistance and Control System," explains Brent Holliday of Greenstone Ventures Partners, Chairman of the Exhibition Jury at the Canadian Financing Forum. "The viability of the product was really clear and their demonstration impressed the jury."

Past presenters at the Financing Forum have raised over $850 Million and 45% of the presenting companies have successfully raised funds over the last 5 years (2001-2005).
