San Ramon, Calif., July 16, 2018 – Leading West Coast Parcel and Freight Delivery Company, GSO ─ a GLS Company─ announced the expansion of its service area to the state of Utah. The addition to GSO’s West Coast service footprint allows the company to fulfill the needs of customers who have long awaited the ability to ship to and from the Beehive State, in particular, the areas of Salt Lake City and St. George, while still ensuring that their shipments arrive between states within one or two days.

“The extension of our services into Utah gives us the opportunity to fulfill the needs of many customers requiring service to and from the area while providing them with more flexibility, delivery speed, convenience and the high standards of service that they’ve become accustomed to as long time GSO customers,” said Mark Corley, Chief Commercial Officer. “Our goal is to continue to provide significantly reduced transit times across the entire West, while combining our decades of experience with the parcel industry expertise of our parent company, GLS, to enhance Priority, Ground, and Freight services for shippers.”

Customers of GSO and GLS can expect to have shipments delivered quickly at competitive ground rates and perpallet rates for LTL shipments, while saving on accessorial fees, receiving shipment status updates via email or text, having access to an easy-to-use online shipping portal, and receiving a more personalized level of customer service.

Sample transit times from Utah:

  • Within Utah and to Southern Idaho and Northern Nevada, packages will arrive the next day.
  • To Northern Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, and Southern Nevada, packages will arrive within two days.
