Bridgeport, CT – EventEvolution Management Inc., producers of the 12th annual PARCEL Forum, which took place September 29-October 1 at the Gaylord Texan, Dallas, TX, is pleased to announce that this year’s event was the largest on record, both in terms of exhibitors and attendees.

“After 11 great years in Chicago, we thought it was time to try something new and take the show to Dallas,” said Joel Dunkel, President, EventEvolution Management. “Even though we did our homework, there were many sleepless nights prior to the event. I kept thinking about the old adage, ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it;’ and PARCEL Forum was far from broken in Chicago.

PARCEL Forum ’14 Dallas featured a sold-out Exhibit Floor showcasing 106 exhibitors and three pavilions—Regional Carrier Pavilion, Warehousing Operations Pavilion and the new Customized Logistics & Delivery Association (CLDA) Pavilion.

“Each year, PARCEL Forum elevates the level of excellence of this event from its execution to the professionalism of the staff and content that truly benefits the industry. 2014 was great and in a great venue, which should be made permanent (hint, hint),” said Gene Park, Director of Marketing, AFS. “We look forward to what 2015 will bring."

“Attending the PARCEL Forum opened my eyes to all the possibilities that are out there to make our business more efficient and cost effective,” said Coy Fitzgerald, Warehouse & Logistics Manager, Cape Electrical Supply. Fritzgerald was one of 634 verified attendees—a 27% increase over 2013. An additional 309 exhibiting staff attended. Our Advisory Board did an outstanding job in identifying hot topics and trends and vetting potential speakers which lead to this increase in attendees. That coupled with our new vertical marketing approach and timely industry news all contributed to our outstanding growth,” remarked Dunkel.

Another addition to PARCEL Forum ’14 Dallas was the co-location with the Customized Logistics and Delivery Association (CLDA) Fall Forum. CLDA produced one of the seven conference tracks, which focused on last-mile delivery. Both CLDA and PARCEL Forum attendees were able to attend each other’s conference sessions. “We were extremely pleased with the co-location, and our members thought it brought a tremendous amount of value to all who attended,” noted CLDA President, Kirk Godby. “We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with PARCEL Forum next year in Chicago.”
