a2b Fulfillment, a third-party logistics provider with a specialty in order fulfillment and value-added services, was honored recently with the Large Business of the Year award from Greene County, Georgia. This award was presented to a2b’s President, Ayal Latz, at the Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards and Fundraiser Event.

a2b Fulfillment was selected for this award due to its support of many community causes. Second Harvest, a local food bank, provides support to hundreds of families in Greene County each month. Not only is a2b Fulfillment a financial supporter of this program, but each month, several dozen employees volunteer their personal time to load and unload trucks, stock the food warehouse shelves and distribute food. “We are excited that both the company and our employees feel connected to this cause” remarked Sarah Latz, Director of Human Resources.

Additional community involvement includes working with Goodwill Industries and the ATLAS programs to train and employ local workers, helping an employee to receive a Habitat for Humanity home, support for local youth athletic programs, active membership in the Greene and Putnam County Rotary Clubs, and active members of the Greene County Chamber of Commerce.
