FIFE, Wash., Aug. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- American Fast Freight, Inc. today announced that it has won a top award for Western Region Less-than-Truckload (LTL) Carrier of the year for 2015 by Logistics Management magazine.  This is AFF's second time winning the award in as many years. The results were released by scores in each category, with American Fast Freight voted a standout leader in the western region and 1st in the category of value amongst all weighted scores.

The Logistics Management award is given to the top rated service providers in each category based on the evaluations of transportation and logistics customers around the US.  The winners were chosen based on the categories of on-time performance, value, information technology, customer service and equipment & operations.  These rankings have been regarded as the industry's most important measure of customer satisfaction and performance excellence.

"Winning this prestigious award two years in a row is a real honor for all of us at AFF," said President and CEO Kevin Kelly.  "Having the highest ranking amongst all winners in the category of value is a testament to the dedication and hard work our teams have shown across our company.  We consistently strive to provide the highest quality service and the best value in our industry."

AFF is also expanding its presence into the Caribbean and Puerto Rico.  Since the acquisition of Caribbean Shipping Services, Inc. (CSS) in May 2015, AFF has been integrating this leading cold chain provider into the AFF Family.  CSS is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida and has operations in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  CSS specializes in refrigerated and dry goods freight forwarding to any point into Puerto Rico and is developing capabilities into the Dominican Republic and other Latin American locations.
